Our principals are responsible for overseeing the operations of Rodda Construction. They are committed to enhancing our future growth by embracing sound work ethics, innovations in technology, and excellence in delivering quality projects.
Our family-owned firm is large enough to handle any assignment, but small enough that each client gets hands-on participation from our principals everyday.
He has been our firm’s visionary since its inception in 1989. He serves as the Project Executive for all projects and his duties include negotiating, planning, client relations, team building, and project oversight. He is a certified general contractor, a graduate of Lakeland High School Class of 1973, and a member of the Leadership Lakeland Class of 1994. John is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Florida Southern College and the Central Region Board of Directors for SunTrust Bank. John has previously served as the President of George Jenkins H.S. Athletic Booster Club, on the Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine Board of Directors, and as a member of the Community Foundation of Lakeland.
Jason, John’s son, handles operations, marketing, and business administration for Rodda Construction. He joined the company in 1996, and has been in the industry full time since 2002. He is a graduate of George Jenkins High School Class of 1998, Florida Southern College Class of 2002 (Bachelor of Business Administration), and University of Florida Class of 2005 (Masters of Business Administration). Jason previously served as Project Manager for Rodda Construction. He is a Certified General Contractor, a LEED Accredited Professional, and is OSHA 30-Hour Certified. He also serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Explorations V Children’s Museum, has been a Campaign Volunteer with the United Way of Central Florida, was involved with Polk Vision, and is an Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, FL.
Jodie, John’s brother, manages all project superintendents. His experience includes field supervision and oversight of 1,000s of projects specializing in various types of commercial and industrial construction. He is truly a construction expert, extremely involved with each and every project we build. He ensures schedules are adhered to and work is completed to the designer’s specifications. Jodie is quality control. He has been in the construction industry since 1976, and has been with Rodda Construction since it was founded in 1989. He is a graduate of Lakeland High School Class of 1977, and a member of the Leadership Lakeland Class of 2003.
